1. Who are “you”? Please refer to below definitions to better understand what information is relevant to you.
   1. Survey Maker (Stars Surveymaker) – you have an account in Stars Surveymaker services and you directly create surveys.
   2. Respondent (Stars Community) – you have an account in Stars PH Surveys mobile app and you have received a survey or participated in a poll powered by Stars.
   3. Visitors – you are just visiting our website because you have heard about us from our digital marketing channels.
2. Information we collect when you use our products or services
   1. Information you provide when you register as a member of Stars survey panel. Information may include your name, mobile number and email address;
   2. Demographic data such as your age, gender, marital status, profession, income and household information;
   3. Facebook data, only if you register your account to Stars via Facebook, and you allow Facebook to share certain personal Facebook data with us;
   4. Information you provide when you redeem a reward. Information may include, but is not limited to, your name, email address, mobile number, postal address;
   5. Any personal data you may provide as part of our verification checks process;
   6. Any conversation history of our communications with you;
   7. Any comments you make on our website, mobile app and social media pages.
3. If you are a Survey Maker we may also collect:
   1. Information you provide when you create an account to use Stars Surveymaker services. When you register for an account, we collect your first and last name, username, email address and password;
   2. Facebook data, only if you create an account in Stars Surveymaker via Facebook, and you allow Facebook to share certain personal Facebook data with us;
   3. Information you provide if you make a payment to Stars Surveymaker services. We require you to provide your name, mobile number, email address, address and financial information corresponding to your selected method of payment (e.g. a credit card number and expiration date or bank account number);
   4. We also store your survey data (questions and responses) for you and provide real time dashboard for you to visualize with respect to this data;
   5. Profile information when you sign up for our services which includes information about yourself and more detailed insights and/or interests about who you are.

1. To communicate with you – your personal information allows us to keep you posted on Stars latest product announcements, software updates, upcoming events, and the status of your rewards. If you don’t want to be on our mailing list, you can opt out anytime by unsubscribing from our mailing list or contacting us.
2. To improve service experience – we use your personal information to help us create, develop, operate, deliver, and improve our products, services, content and advertising, deal with any complaints, queries, or technical problems you experience.
3. For research purposes - we may also use your personal information for internal purposes such as auditing, data analysis, and research to improve Stars’ products, services, and customer communications.

1. Stars collects Non-Personal Information from you in the form of survey responses, which is used to power our dashboard and used to conduct market research and allow organizations to understand consumers better.
2. Data collected from surveys and engagement polls are summarized as an aggregated statistical information. It will not be used in a manner enabling the personal identification of an individual. This means it will not be possible to personally identify an individual from their responses.
3. Surveymaker Services – when working with us, our surveymaker need only access to anonymous data that does not allow the direct identification of users. We use the information gathered via surveys, to provide services to our surveymaker. We use the information collected to analyze the data for research purposes and to incorporate it into our databases for research and analysis purposes.
4. To build a better product – we may also use information for internal purposes such as quality control, system administration and to evaluate the use of our Platforms and their performances, so that we can provide you with enhanced services and a better experience.
5. To provide our services - we also use the information to provide you with Stars PH research results which may include, but is not limited to our engagement questions and surveys for content marketing
6. We may use the information we have to show you relevant advertisements on and off our Platforms and measure the effectiveness and reach of such advertisements and services.
7. Improve service experience; and
8. Develop new products and service features.

Cookies are small bits of data we store on the device you use to access our services so we can recognize repeat users. Each cookie expires after a certain period, depending on what we use it for. We use cookies and similar technologies for several reasons:

1. For security - we use security cookies for security controls and checks. It is used to authenticate users, prevent fraudulent use of login credentials and protect user data from unauthorized parties.
2. To make our site easier to use - Surveymaker: if you use the “Remember me” feature when you sign into your account, we store your username in a cookie to make it quicker for you to sign in whenever you return to Stars PH Surveymaker.
3. Google Analytics – we use Google Analytics as a tool to measure the success of our advertising campaigns and referrals through third party advertising partners. It collects information and reports website usage statistics by reflecting the overall patterns of usage without personally identifying individual visitors.
4. Opting Out - If for any reason you do not want us to track your use of our Platforms using cookies, you can opt out of this by using your browser settings and limiting or managing your cookie settings. Please note that opting out may limit the extent to which we are able to provide our services to you.

1. Our Surveymaker - we share your information collected through survey responses with our survey makers to provide them with market research and data analytics services.
2. Our Partner / System Developer – we may also share your personal information with other organizations who provide services to us that we request. This might include IT service providers who support our IT systems.
3. For research purposes - we may also use your personal information for internal purposes such as auditing, data analysis, and research to improve Stars’ products, services, and customer communications.

Other than listed above, we will not rent, sell or otherwise disclose your personal information without your consent.

1. Storage - all your information is set up and stored on certified and secure servers that are leased by Stars PH. Once we have received your information, we will take reasonable and appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access, destruction, misuse, manipulation or disclosure. The data is set up and stored in certified cloud.
2. Encryption - we encrypt your data in transit using secure TLS cryptographic protocols. If you have usernames, passwords or other login details which enable you to access our Platforms, you must not allow any other person to use them and must treat them as confidential. If you believe or suspect that someone else knows your login details, you must contact us at [email protected] as soon as possible.
3. Data Retention - if you are a Surveymaker, we generally do not delete the data in your account as long as your account is active – you are responsible for and control the time periods for which you retain this data.

Other than listed above, we will not rent, sell or otherwise disclose your personal information without your consent.

You may wish to exercise a right to obtain information about yourself or to correct, update or delete that information.

1. Accessing and updating your data - You have the right to request access to personal data at any time. You also can update your personal data at any time. You may ask us to correct any inaccurate data (including demographic details) about you and to complete any incomplete data that we hold about you.
2. Terminating Communication – at any time, you may request for us to stop sending all forms of communication across platforms. You may unsubscribe to all email marketing, turn off notifications or send a request to [email protected].
